The Assignment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At Contribute, our software factory runs on three powerful engines: Team-as-a-Service<\/strong>, project work<\/strong> and staffing<\/strong>. But to keep that machine running truly efficiently, we need something crucial: one central reporting tool<\/strong> that tells us at a glance where we stand. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

What’s the mission?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You’ll build a brand-new APEX application that serves as our internal reporting tool. Starting from a fully worked-out functional plan (complete with wireframes and everything else), you’ll get to work developing a visually strong and user-friendly tool. Don’t worry, you won’t be doing this alone! You’ll get support wherever you need it, but we’ll also leave plenty of room for your own ideas and creativity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With your application, you’ll help us gain insight into things like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • The number of hours worked per client vs. the allocated budget<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Who’s working on which project and how much time has been spent on it<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • How the budget compares to the actual costs<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The progress of our roadmap against the planned deadlines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    • Thinking like a consultant: how do you build a tool that actually works in practice?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Hands-on experience with Oracle APEX<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    • Translating functional analysis into a fully-fledged app<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Building visualizations and dashboards<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Collaborating with an experienced development team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
